A blown film machine heats and melts plastic particles, then blows them into a thin film. There are many types of blown film machines, including those for PE and POF.
Using virgin particles results in virgin material, with uniform color, clean appearance, and good bag stretch. Some people use recycled plastic bags to make particles; these particles are generally called "recycled material." When made into particles, they are usually gray. Pigments are typically added during bag manufacturing, resulting in bags with uneven coloring, brittleness, and easy breakage, and at a lower price. Although these are recycled plastic bags, they are generally waste bags from the bag-making process and are quite different from typical garbage plastic.
