Main Technical Parameters
Designed for striped and two-color polyethylene film, this AB blown film machine combines two extrusion streams in one die system. Each extruder can process a different color formulation, allowing the molten materials to join before leaving the die as one continuous tubular film. The color bands are created during extrusion rather than added later by a printing unit.
A rotary die-head arrangement helps distribute normal circumferential gauge variation instead of leaving it in one fixed position. Its actual rotation range and influence on stripe orientation should be confirmed for the selected configuration. This line is intended for applications such as striped shopping bags, market bags, refuse sacks, table-cover film and recognizable packaging film. Stripe width, color arrangement and film size depend on the die design and operating setup. Compatible resins, extruder sizes, winding method, output and thickness range should be specified before production.

Dual Extrusion System

Winding Unit

The number, width and distribution of the colored bands depend on the internal die structure and cannot be freely changed through the control panel alone.

FAQ
Q: 1. How are the two colors formed?
A: Two extruders deliver separately colored melt streams to a specially designed die. The streams are arranged into bands before the film exits the die, producing a continuous striped pattern without an inline printing process.
Q: 2. Is this film printed?
A: No. The visible colors are part of the film structure itself. Printing can still be added later if the finished packaging requires logos, text or graphics.
Q: 3. Does "AB" mean that the film has two layers?
A: Not necessarily. On this machine, AB primarily identifies two extrusion streams used to create different colored sections. It should not be described as a conventional two-layer co-extrusion line unless the die structure confirms that arrangement.
Q: 4. Can the stripe width be changed?
A: Stripe width is mainly determined by the die's internal flow-channel design and the output balance between the two extruders. Limited adjustment may be possible, but a substantially different pattern can require another die insert or die configuration.
Q: 5. Can both sides use opaque colors?
A: Suitable masterbatch can be added to each compatible base resin to create opaque or translucent sections. The selected pigment must tolerate the processing temperature and meet the requirements of the final application.
